SMALL ARMS AND LIGHT WEAPONS: MOST COMMON TYPES

Assault Rifles:

  • Russian/Soviet AK-47, AK-74, and variants
  • U.S. M-16
  • Belgian Fabrique Nationale FAL
  • German Heckler & Koch G-3
  • Chinese Type 56 (a copy of the Russian AK-47)
  • Israeli Galil (a modified version of the AK-47)

Machine Guns:

  • U.S. M-2 and M-60
  • Russian/Soviet RPK and DShK
  • German MG3
  • Belgian Fabrique Nationale MAG
  • Chinese Type 67

Light Antitank Weapons:

  • U.S. M-20 and M-72 rocket launchers
  • U.S. Dragon and TOW antitank missiles
