on Global Security
Throughout the academic year, PAWSS convenes a Faculty Seminar on Global Security.
The Seminar features presentations by Five College faculty and visiting scholars.
Open to all Five College Faculty.
Five College Faculty Grants
PAWSS offers grants of up to $1,500 to Five College faculty to facilitate the
design of new courses in the field or to update exisitng courses. Open to Five
College Faculty only.
Summer Faculty Institute on World
Security Affairs
An annual week-long intensive symposium on important themes in international
security affairs, featuring presentations by noted scholars and policymakers
in the field; intended for faculty from the Five Colleges and from other colleges
and universities. The topic for 2003 is "WMD: The Evolving Threat in the 21st Century."
Curriculum Project
Over fifty syllabi in thirteen different subject areas.
